Delicious thin crust pizza that was worth the wait because we had frosty mugs of root beer and butter garlic chicken wings and perfect crunchy celery (my favorite) to enjoy. The nicest most helpful waitress I ever had gave us great service. Oddly, they are across the road from a beautiful lake but have no windows or deck to take advantage of the location or view. Maybe they like it that way to keep the character?

A very good thin crusted pizza and perfectly cooked wings. My wife and I shared a George's pizza and a 2# order of wings. Service was good although it was not all that busy for the amount of staff on hand. So the team question is would I drive 25 miles out of my way to came back again. Absolutely.

Pizza was wonderful. Mild wings were very good and a little hotter than I expected for "northern" wings. Glad I didn't get the hot! We had a waitress that had a great sense of humor despite a few technical difficulties with our bill. Dress casual and go for good food!

Incredibly slow, do not visit during dinner hours. We ordered three pizzas and it took 55 minutes to receive them. Our waitress was nice and apologized but that is an unacceptable amount of time to be waiting for a pizza anywhere. Maybe a visit during off hours or ordering take out an hour ahead of when you want to eat would be a better option. I won't be returning.

We have lived in northern Minnesota for 20 years. I cannot believe I waited this long to try wings and pizza here. Bimbos wings are the best we have ever had.

Can you say delicious pizza? This is a family operated pizza and wings joint and has been since my mother was little. Ice cold beer on tap, hot fresh thin pizza cut into squares, wings of different assortments and a big TV for sports. Excellent spot for after-the-lake kinda days where you just wanna relax, have great food and a fun time with family. (They also have a bar for you and your buddies to enjoy the tap.) I recommend this place to anyone on the lake. Locals of course know about it, but I'm sure few of you even use Yelp! :P

This has become a favorite spot to frequent. Deep in the woods, this old place has a lot of character, and feels like it was built in late antiquity. Check it out and get some pizza if you're in the area, because I'm surprised this place hasn't burned down yet.

This is THE place for the best pizza and wings in Minnesota. It's been around for over 40 years serving the absolute best pizza -- nothing comes close! Try the George's Special, with home made sausage and banana peppers. Add 2 pounds of hot wings and a Colorado Bulldog -- you will quickly see why this place is the best! Right on Side Lake -- you can boat in! Definately a must try! Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Bimbo's is the BOMB! This place is exactly the type of place you want to go to after a day on the lake or an afternoon of hunting. EXCELLENT Pizza and always ice cold beer. They take you as you are, and you can relax and talk about the big one that got away. To me, this is a tiny slice of what makes Minnesota great.

Can you say free pop corn? If you are up in the Lake Sturgeon/Hibbing/Chisholm area definitely stop in. This is your classic lakeside restaurant and bar. Kitschy? Yes. Dive? Yes. Great? You betcha. This place is known for their pizzas and hot wings, and I can recommend any of the pizzas as very good. They also have a selection of sandwiches and burgers which I know nothing about yet. I was up in the area with some friends in the Iron Range, and the place is an institution in the Hibbing area.

Every time were up in side lake to visit the in laws a trip to Bimbos is a must. The pizza and wings is great. Ive never eaten anything else of the menu, because there is no need. Pitchers of cold beer and bulldogs precedes the wings. The garlic wings are very tasty as well as the hot wings. And the pizza is great. Cant be missed if your in the area.

If there were negative numbers, this place would get it. I've never been treated so rudely in my life. The "waitress" and the owner/manager guy with curly hair were two of the rudest people I've ever met. We came there with about 10 people and promptly left after being told "you city people". Funny, since we all were from the Range. I wouldn't step foot in this joke of a place ever again.

I come to Bimbos every chance I get. Since I live in southern California, that is not often enough. I can honestly say that it is the BEST pizza and wings I have ever had. The beer is cold and the welcome is warm. It is one of the highlights of hunting season. The Riordan's and the Edwards' will forever make our trek to the north woods to enjoy the BEST pizza on earth.
